The author Katy Lees is a non-binary person-centred therapist and writer who runs their own private psychotherapy practice. The book includes practical advice and strategies as well as drawing on lived experiences.

Dr Brendan J Dunlop offers lots of practical worksheets in this book, exploring topics such as anxiety, low self-esteem, shame, trauma, substance misuse, and sleep issues.
